Pride Parade & Rally at The Capitol Steps

SAVE THE DATE: Join us in Lansing to March through the streets toward our State Capitol; then Rally for Equality and Social Justice at the Capitol steps. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PARADE Capitol Steps Speakers: Derek Dobies, Jackson City Council Member Angelica De Jesus Micah Ling Barb Byrum, Ingham County Clerk Shane Shananaquet Shane Shananaquet, a transgender 14 year old sophomore at Adrian High School, is a fierce warrior for LGBT equality. He actively encourages other youth to stand up and be heard, speaks about the importance of amplifying youth voices, and advocates through story telling. In January, he was selected to be a Youth Ambassador for the Women’s March on Washington’s Youth Initiative.
